Mikini 26 Count Ground Cloth - Ivory - Avlea Folk Embroidery

This 100 percent cotton, 26 count fabric (13 sts to the inch over two threads) is a counted thread fabric used in many traditional folk embroideries. It has a very soft hand (this means it has more "drape" and is less stiff than Traditional Groundcloth), and is perfect for crisp, intricate stitch definition as well as drawn thread work. Plus, at 26ct it's a bit easier to see the threads! You can substitute it for any of our designs that specify the Traditional Groundcloth.

Available in two colors:

Ivory--this is a really great ivory color, very similar to the color of our Traditional Groundcloth but a smidge lighter in color. For those of you who want the color of the Traditional Groundcloth but in a finer/smoother fabric, this is a great choice.

White--a nice, bright white

If you would like to use it for a design calling for 30ct fabric, simply multiply your stitch count by 1.15.
