MATERIALS and FINISHES: We use furniture grade birch plywood for our frames. They are 3/4” thick. Finish Options are pictured above and include: Natural Oil, White Stain, Walnut Stain, Black Stain, Unfinished. Each piece of wood absorbs the stains uniquely.
DIMENSIONS: This listing (Square Frame) fits standard embroidery hoops with a screw tensioner. The frame will usually cover about an 1/8" of the fabric of your work. Typical sizes as follows:
For a 6" hoop: These hoops vary A LOT!! Hoops are typically 6.25" in diameter. The frame is 8.5" wide and has an interior opening of 6.5". Please make sure that your hoop is no larger than 6.25".
